Sam Kerson's On the Beach-Gallery
Travelling to Oaxaca has put us very close to the south coast, 15 degrees north of the equator on the Pacific, Escondido, Puerto Angel, Playa Congrejo, San Blas Atempe, Masunta, Punto Cometa...For the last 10 years or so, Sam has enjoyed the inspiring crash of the mighty waves at Zicatela Beach. Our host has been The Voss family at Hotel Ines, where Peter, his daugter Inez and her husband Lorenzo have been very hospitable and generous and have appreciated the unusual chemistry that happens to an artist sometimes when he is in the right place at the right time. The magnificant coast the friendly hotel, the open eyed colorist with his box of pastels have combined again and again to make unique and original images including the series below..
Plus we have added a couple of other favorite beach pictures the Wave from Playa Azul hundreds of miles north of Escondido and Tulum from the Carribean coast.
