The linoleum cut images in this series are cut by Sam Kerson. The images included in this series are the original designs for the mural: The Underground Railroad Vermont and the fugitive Slave, painted by Sam Kerson at the Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vermont in 1995.
The mural is open to the public and can be found upstairs in the Chase Community Center.

The original art books can be seen in the special collections of Darthmouth College, Middlebury College, The University of Vermont, St-Michael's College, the Vermont Law School and the Newark Public Library.
